This self-guided hike invites you to explore the Stockhorn region, with two trail options:
Trail A: Start from Chrindi: Enjoy a gondola ride to Chrindi, then hike past crystal-clear mountain lakes to the Stockhorn summit.
Trail B: Start from Summit: Take the gondola to the summit and experience stunning views as you hike down, surrounded by the beauty of the Stockhorn lakes and Alps.
Once you reach the gondola, the choice is yours. With a trail map in hand, explore at your own pace, allowing you to connect with nature and enjoy the freedom of self-guided exploration.
Optional Guided Fishing: Prefer fishing to hiking? The Hinterstocken and Oberstocken lakes provide an alpine fishing experience. We can arrange equipment rental and a guide for a fishing tour.
Lakeside Picnic: After your hike, your driver-guide will welcome you back at the Erlenbach Valley Station and take you to a peaceful spot on Lake Brienz. Enjoy a delicious picnic, relax, and soak in the serene ambiance. Afterwards, enjoy a comfortable ride back to your hotel in Montreux.
