This self-guided hike invites you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Stockhorn region, with two different trail options:
(A): Begin with a gondola ride to Chrindi and hike past stunning mountain lakes as you make your way to the Stockhorn summit.
(B): Ride the gondola to the summit and enjoy sweeping views as you descend, surrounded by the majestic Stockhorn lakes and Swiss Alps.
The choice is yours once you arrive at the gondola. With a map in hand, follow the well-marked trails at your own pace, allowing you to connect with nature and explore freely. Both routes offer awe-inspiring views of the Stockhorn, its picturesque lakes, and the surrounding mountains.
Optional Fishing Experience: If you'd prefer fishing to hiking, the Hinterstocken and Oberstocken lakes provide a fantastic alpine fishing experience. We can arrange equipment rental and a guide for a 2-3 hour fishing tour upon request.
After your hike, your driver-guide will greet you back at the Erlenbach Valley Station and take you to a charming lakeside spot on Lake Brienz.
