The day trip will start from your hotel in Bern as our experienced driver-guide takes you through the enchanting Swiss landscapes to the famous Lauterbrunnen Valley.
From here, ascend to the magnificent Grütschalp using a panoramic gondola, initiating your hike to Allmendhubel at 1900m above sea level.
Enjoy the alpine meadows beneath Schilthorn (2970m), filled with blueberries and iconic grazing cattle. Take in breathtaking views of the iconic Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger, the central Swiss Alps' most iconic peaks.
After approximately 2.5 hours, covering a total distance of 5km with a 480m elevation gain, you'll reach Allmendhubel. You may like local refreshments at the Panoramic Restaurant, and explore the nearby Flower Path, featuring informative displays on Alpine fauna.
Following a well-deserved rest amidst alpine vistas, descend comfortably via two different gondolas to Stechelberg. Enjoy the spectacular views of waterfalls and steep cliffs gracing the Lauterbrunnen Valley during the descent.
At the Stechelberg Station, your driver-guide will offer two options:
1) Choose the scenic hiking path through the Lauterbrunnen Valley (5km) for a picnic at your chosen spot.
2) Opt for our driver to take you to a scenic location on the shores of Lake Brienz for a picnic and a refreshing swim.
Marking the end of an extraordinary adventure, our driver-guide will transfer you back to your hotel in Bern.
