Itinerary Details	Explore the Swiss Alps with our guided hiking tour along the Lake Oeschinen Circular trail. This scenic path offers mesmerizing views, pristine landscapes, and alpine marvels as it winds above Lake Oeschinen. Throughout the adventure, you'll be accompanied by a professional hiking guide. Meet your driver-guide in the lobby of your hotel in Basel to start your day. After a brief orientation, ensuring you're properly attired for hiking, you'll be ready to go. The excursion begins with a picturesque drive to the town of Kandersteg in Central Switzerland. Here, you'll meet your knowledgeable hiking guide and ascend via gondola to the Oeschinensee station from Kandersteg. The 9-kilometer Lake Oeschinen Loop trail, though somewhat challenging, offers unparalleled panoramic views above the lake. Trek through meadows and forests, pausing at various viewpoints to soak in the lake's splendor. Gain insights into the regional ecology, geology, and topography from your guide along the way. During lunchtime, savor a delicious packed meal at a scenic spot overlooking the lake and majestic mountains. Take your time to explore the area, snack, capture photos, and immerse yourself in the serene ambiance of the Swiss Alps. The final leg of the journey leads alongside Lake Oeschinen, where you can refresh yourself in the crystal-clear Alpine waters.
