Zurich Pride Festival

Thousands of LGBTQ+ friends and allies gather annually in Zurich for the multi-day LGBTQ+ Festival. Since 1994, this event—formerly Christopher Street Day—has been organized regularly to support LGBTQ+ rights and combat discrimination. The festival was renamed the Zurich Pride Festival after hosting Europride in 2009. In June, the Kasernenareal festival venue will be transformed into a party destination accessible to everyone. Highlights of the festival include a procession and performances by both domestic and foreign performers.
