Experience Mount Rigi - the Queen of the Swiss Alps on the Trip from Zurich

The driver-guide will greet you at the lobby of your hotel in Zurich or Lucerne to head and enjoy a city tour of the enchanting Lucerne including, the world-famous Chapel Bridge, Water Tower, Lion Monument, Jesuit Church & Old city squares.

Afterwards, you may have some break time to yourself to enjoy the finest cafes in the old city of Lucerne, near the beautiful lakeside or in the modern one according to your preferences. The continuation of the journey will be to Weggis by taking a boat trip from Lucerne. Whenever you arrive at Weggis, it will be time to scale to the summit of Rigi by aerial cable car. Finally, you will marvel at the majestic sights of the Bernese Alps in line with Eiger, Moench, and Jungfrau, and 13 lakes over the entire of Switzerland.

To reach Mount Rigi, you have two options, by taking the boat trip from Lucerne, or we can drive you to the station to take the cogwheel directly.

In case of taking the boat trip, the route will be like this:

• Scenic boat cruise, from Lucerne to Weggis
• Ascent with the mountain railway from Weggis to Rigi-Kulm
• Descent with the mountain railway from Rigi-Kulm to Rigi-Kaltbad (or Weggis)
• Descent with the aerial cableway from Rigi-Kaltbad to Weggis
• Return cruise by boat from Weggis to Lucerne (optional)

After having a day full of excitement and concluding the Mount Rigi experience, the driver will pick you up from any desired place, which could be Weggis if you won’t take the return boat (optional) or from Lucerne to have a relaxing drive back to the initial meeting point.
