Buskers Bern

During the three days of the Buskers Festival, Bern's Old Town is transformed into a vibrant and energetic event featuring street artists worldwide. For more than 30 years, this festival has taken place worldwide, showcasing various cultural performances such as dance, comedy, puppetry, music, and art.

To see the performances of the street performers, attendees move between the numerous little venues that make up the festival grounds. Since its debut in 2004, the Buskers Bern Street Music Festival has grown to include more than 150 performers and 70,000 attendees annually. As a token of appreciation for their performances, guests can put money into the performers' hats to pay them personally.

The event is free of charge.
