Departure from Basel with a private driver toward the Swiss Alps, journeying across the Susten, Furka, and Grimsel Passes, three of Switzerland’s most renowned mountain roads, with views of alpine valleys, mountain lakes and reservoirs. Visits to the Aare Gorge, a natural limestone canyon formed by the Aare River, as well as the Rhône Glacier Ice Grotto, a glowing tunnel of ancient blue ice. Additional scenic stops may be made at selected viewpoints along the route, subject to timing, weather conditions, and seasonal operations. Return to Basel by private transfer. |
