Stoos-Schwinget 2026

Every year, during one of the most picturesque mountain wrestling festivals, the wild characters of Swiss wrestling assemble at Stoos for a fierce contest. This event, which takes place in June, marks the beginning of Switzerland's six mountain wrestling festivals.

At the customary opening of the mountain festival on Stoos, 50 wrestlers from Central Switzerland will compete against 20 wrestlers each from Bern and Northeastern Switzerland, according to the official list of participants. Loyal fans can anticipate an intense competition for victory and oak leaves on the second Monday of June, featuring an intriguing array of wrestlers.
