Ironman 70.3

The largest endurance sports competition in the Obersee region is the IRONMAN 70.3 Switzerland triathlon, which takes place in Rapperswil-Jona. People of all ages can enjoy a range of sports and entertainment programs at the festival. The triathlon consists of a 90-kilometer bike course along the lake and verdant pastures, a 1.9-kilometer swim course in the Obersee's pristine waters, and a final half-marathon that winds through Rapperswil's historic old town, passing the fish market square and the "Stairway to Heaven" up to the castle. The competitors will require 70.3 miles of swimming, cycling, and running, making it an event that all onlookers will never forget.
