Street Parade
During the summer, especially in August, Zurich comes to life as hundreds of thousands of fans of electronic and techno music gather for the Street Parade and dance around the lake basin. It is the biggest techno party in the world and one of Zurich's most eagerly awaited events. About 80 parties are held throughout the city and its suburbs during the multi-day celebrations, which begin Thursday night and end early Monday morning.
