The 31st Federal Yodeling Festival in Zug has the motto of "Traditional, surprising, diverse". Yodelling is a form of communication that has existed for centuries, particularly in mountainous and remote areas. It evolved into choir singing in the 19th century. Among Switzerland's many traditional events, the Swiss Yodelling Festival stands out as one of the largest and most remarkable. It is held once every three years in different locations and offers visitors a chance to enjoy a weekend of concerts, folk traditions, local food, and an authentic Swiss experience.
